The KOLON Industries FnC Organization (KOLON FnC) has announced the launch of the Aero Line by its workwear brand BOLDEST, with enhanced functionality designed to help prevent heat-related illness during the summer season.

With another summer of extreme heat expected, BOLDEST has introduced a proactive protection solution that reflects both the growing social issue of workplace safety in hot weather and data from real industrial worksites. The Aero Collection lineup consists of two Work Aero Wheel models with powerful airflow and eight dedicated apparel items compatible with the device, offering an optimized cooling solution for workers in high-temperature environments.

The key feature of the Aero Collection is that all eight dedicated apparel items are designed to be fitted with the Aero Wheel for air circulation. The Work Aero Wheel is available in two specifications, 12V and 20V, allowing workers to choose based on their work environment. Notably, the high-output Work Aero Wheel V2 delivers powerful performance of up to 20V and can operate for up to 28 hours when used with a dedicated 20,000mAh battery, providing sufficient cooling for long hours of outdoor work. All Aero Line garments feature a circulating design that allows air generated by the wheel to flow naturally inside the garment and exit through the neck and underarm areas. They also include an ice pack pocket at the back of the neck to minimize trapped body heat.

The eight apparel items include the Aero Vest V3, FORPE Cool Armor Aero Vest V2, Aramid Aero Vest, Aero Short-Sleeve Shacket V2, Aero Short-Sleeve Shacket Hoodie, Aero Vest Hoodie, Aero Vest HIGH-VIS EDGE, and Aero Long-Sleeve Jacket, giving workers more options suited to different tasks.

The FORPE Cool Armor Aero Vest V2 uses FORPE, a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) cooling fiber developed independently by KOLON Industries. With its high-density structure, FORPE offers higher thermal conductivity than conventional synthetic fibers, drawing heat away immediately upon contact with the skin to effectively lower perceived temperature. The Aramid Aero Vest, designed for grinder operators, uses the super fiber Heracron on the front panel for heat resistance, while the Aero Vest HIGH-VIS EDGE uses high-visibility fabric to help prevent accidents. The Aero Long-Sleeve Jacket is designed with UV protection and compatibility with harnesses and belts in mind.

Alongside the product launch, BOLDEST will sequentially release campaign films that capture real workers in industrial settings and highlight the technology behind the Aero Collection. To mark Labor Day, the brand will also hold a special promotion from April 30 to May 4 online and in stores.

Yang Sun-mi, Brand Director of BOLDEST, said, “The Aero Line is the result of further upgrades to functionality and safety based on feedback from workers in real industrial settings. In response to extreme heat as a climate-related hazard, BOLDEST will focus on helping prevent heat-related illness among workers while providing the highest level of comfort and efficiency on the job.”
