Lucky Marché opens its first flagship store in Seongsu-dong

2021-10-18

  • Targeting millennials and Gen Z who value brand experience… An offline store opens one year after launch
  • To unveil a collaborative collection with Walt Disney's Bambi and hold promotions in celebration of the store opening

Lucky Marché, a unisex young casual brand of the KOLON Industries FnC Organization (KOLON FnC), opened its flagship store in Seongsu-dong on September 10. By opening an offline store in Seongsu-dong, home to many trendsetting fashion and lifestyle stores, Lucky Marché aims to increase its focus on millennials and Gen Z.

Launched in August 2020, Lucky Marché has operated its online retail channel as well as pop-up stores in major department stores across Korea for a year. During this period, Lucky Marché found that the 25-35 age group, which is the brand's main target, values the offline experience of touching and trying on real products, and as a high-quality casual brand, the brand decided to open its flagship store in an effort to get closer to its customers.

The Lucky Marché flagship store provides a special space where the brand’s signature colors of green and pink add positive energy to the red brick building. The wood-tone interior was completed with everyday materials and items to deliver comfort to visitors.

The flagship store also features a collaborative collection between Lucky Marché and Walt Disney's famous character Bambi. With the motif of the characters of Bambi and his forest friends, the collaboration introduces a variety of items that will bring joy to everyday life, from casual sweatshirts to unique dresses to cute accessories like hair bands and beanies.

In addition, promotions will be held to commemorate the store opening. A photo kiosk will be provided for visitors until the 16th from the 10th, the opening day. During the month of September, visitors to the store will receive a graphic tape, a badge, and a scratch coupon while a free mug will be given to those who upload a photo of their visit on Instagram. Purchase customers will receive a random box consisting of various gifts as well as an eco-friendly bag. And the shopping bag fee of KRW 100, charged in compliance with Korea's environmental regulation, will be used for donation later.

“Today, an offline store serves as a symbolic space that provides a physical experience that satisfies the five senses rather than simply selling products. We plan to hold a variety of seasonal events to offer customers a multi-sensory experience of our brand," said an official of Lucky Marché.
