• Lafayette sales rate reached 90% last season...Extended to 5 styles that highlight the brand's vintage identity

SERIES, a menswear brand of the KOLON Industries FnC Organization (KOLON FnC), is releasing the upgraded version of its steady-selling outerwear Lafayette for this winter.

Lafayette, a jacket inspired by the Lafayette Flying Corps, the American volunteer pilots who flew in the French Air Force during World War II, is a classic item that best expresses the vintage identity of SERIES. In the Fall/Winter 2020 season, three styles of Lafayette were released, two of which recorded a 96% sales rate.

In the Fall/Winter 2021 season, Lafayette has been expanded to five kinds with variations in the style and post-processing method: Original Lafayette, Pigment Coating Lafayette, Carbon Coating Premium Lafayette, Lafayette Leather Jacket, and Lunar Dyeing Lafayette. All five styles feature Lafayette's signature detachable fleece collar and drape over the top of the buttocks, but each style is different in terms of design details, materials, and post-processing. In particular, pigment coating and carbon coating are post-processing methods used to create faded colors, highlighting the vintage style of SERIES. As for filling material, RDS down was used to improve animal welfare.

To celebrate the launch of the new Lafayette, SERIES is holding an online promotion at KOLON MALL (www.kolonmall.com) and the official website (www.byseries.com). In addition to introducing each Lafayette style, SERIES will unveil a fashion film that conveys its unique identity.
