CUSTOMELLOW opens flagship store CUSTOMELLOW PRINTS Seongsu

  • With an art collaboration concept, the store design in collaboration with ‘one two chachacha’ catches the eye

CUSTOMELLOW, a menswear brand of the KOLON Industries FnC Organization (KOLON FnC), will open the flagship store "CUSTOMELLOW PRINTS Seongsu" in Seongsu on October 16.


CUSTOMELLOW PRINTS Seongsu is themed with art collaboration that CUSTOMELLOW has continued to pursue since the brand launch. This flagship store was designed in collaboration with Kwon Euyhyun, furniture designer of one two chachacha (OTC). Kwon has participated in various space projects, including QUEENMAMA MARKET, ALAND New York, and KOLON FnC's RE;CODE Atelier. For the CUSTOMELLOW PRINTS Seongsu project, inspired by the working methods of artist Donald Judd, he created a space that is minimal and transformable by using wood, iron, and glass to match the personality of CUSTOMELLOW products.


CUSTOMELLOW PRINTS Seongsu is a space where you can find CUSTOMELLOW's strategic products fastest. First, a collaborative collection with American heritage brand Avirex will fill CUSTOMELLOW PRINTS Seongsu. Avirex is a brand known for military-style outerwear, which started as a jacket supplier to the US Air Force. CUSTOMELLOW is launching various styles of aviator jackets with Avirex this season, making their debut in the flagship store. CUSTOMELLOW plans to focus on introducing strategic products with irregular pop-up concepts.

 

“CUSTOMELLOW has been expanding the scope of design through diverse art collaborations. As an extension of these collaborations, CUSTOMELLOW PRINTS Seongsu was designed to showcase CUSTOMELLOW's collaborations across various sectors," said Son Hyung-oh, Creative Director of CUSTOMELLOW. "Seongsu has emerged as an area that represents millennials and Gen Z. CUSTOMELLOW PRINTS Seongsu will also strive to become a landmark store in Seongsu.”


Meanwhile, CUSTOMELLOW is holding a variety of promotions to celebrate the opening of the flagship store. E-KOLON members will receive a 10% discount on product purchases. Customers who purchase items worth 100,000 won or more will receive a reused fabric bag made of leftover fabric after making products, and an embroidery patch waffen will be given to customers who buy Avirex collaboration products. In addition, an Avirex collaboration backpack is exclusively available at CUSTOMELLOW PRINTS Seongsu.
