epigram suggests wearing Okcheon in the spring of 2021

  • The Win-Win Local Project selects one rural city each season… Okcheon was chosen for the 21SS season
  • The project includes new products featuring the colors representing Okcheon, collaboration with artists, and repackaging of local products
  • Okcheon Market, a pop-up store introducing local food, will open at the Gyeongnidan-gil store in late April


“epigram,” a lifestyle brand of the KOLON Industries FnC Organization (KOLON FnC), presents the 21SS season in collaboration with Okcheon, Chungcheongbuk-do.

Since 2019, epigram has been running the "Local Project," which selects one rural city for each season and introduces the region through the brand's products and content. Starting with Jeju in 2017, the project collaborated with Hadong (19SS), Gochang (19FW), Cheongsong (20SS), and Goseong (20FW). In addition to introducing products from these cities at the epigram store, the brand also launched "Almost Home Stay" to shed light on local hanok (traditional Korean house).


This season, epigram infused Okcheon into its products in various ways. Pink and green colors of peach and green grapes, Okcheon’s local specialties, were chosen as the season's themed colors, and a T-shirt featuring illustrations of the fruits was released. It also offers Flower Sweatshirt inspired by Aster yomena flower, which is only found in Chungcheong-do. Products featuring the scenery of Okcheon will also be released in collaboration with artists.


The Local Project also provides an opportunity to promote Okcheon products to consumers. epigram will redesign the packaging of Okcheon's agricultural products and fresh foods in the style of the brand and introduce them on KOLON MALL (www.kolonmall.com) and “convenii,” a video-based shopping mall at the end of March.

epigram will actively introduce Okcheon both online and offline. In late April, Okcheon Market, an Okcheon-themed pop-up store, will open at the epigram Almost Home store in Gyeongnidan-gil."

This event, held in collaboration with the local food store Okcheon Salim, offers not only a variety of Okcheon food but also a collection of foods that can be purchased only on weekends.

Furthermore, an epigram storybook featuring the beautiful scenery of Okcheon will be published. Along with the story of the epigram, the storybook contains photos of the areas representing Okcheon, such as Dunjubong, whose shape resembles the Korean peninsula, the cherry blossom road along the national road, and the Jangnyeongsan Recreational Forest.
