• Colors inspired by Goryeo celadon and Joseon white porcelain with a design that highlights the beauty of Korea
• Uniforms are tailored to each athlete with made-to-measure (MTM) suit technology

CAMBRIDGE MEMBERS, a menswear brand of the KOLON Industries FnC Organization (KOLON FnC), will supply formal uniforms for the Korean national team to wear at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics opening and closing ceremonies.

CAMBRIDGE MEMBERS not only incorporated the unique colors of Korea into the team suit but also attached various meanings.

The blazer is expressed in the gorgeous color of Goryeo celadon, showing a warm and serene beauty behind its brilliance. The sweat-absorbing, quick-drying functional fabric is used to make it comfortable to wear even in the summer heat of Japan. On the lining, a pattern with the motif of a Goguryeo hunting scene mural is printed to capture the spirit of Korean people. The sleeves are decorated with red and blue embroidery details of Taegeuk as a highlight.

The pants are designed in pure white resembling Joseon white porcelain. Likewise, a functional fabric with a waffle-shaped texture is used to minimize wrinkles and add a refreshing feel. A striped tie inspired by the red and blue colors of Taegeuk and a scarf with the motif of Taegeuk colors are suggested for male and female athletes, respectively. Panama hats are also provided to block sunlight and heat.

CAMBRIDGE MEMBERS' made-to-measure (MTM) suit technology was also incorporated. CAMBRIDGE MEMBERS measured the size of all athletes and made an optimized team suit for each individual.
